Elvis/Jesse and I did discuss the Orion the singer/Orion Pictures topics. He answered me with an emphatic “YES!!“ when I told him that I believed that some of the Orion songs were done by him. I have always known in my heart and mind that I was right about that. I asked him about my having the Orion topics on my web site and he responded favorably.

THIS IS A NEW ARTICLE FROM MY CURRENT NEWS AND EVENTS PAGE
We caught the last few minutes of the ORION movie “Great Balls of Fire”, which is the biography of Jerry Lee Lewis, tonight on the MGMHD channel.
I noticed several things in the credits which I have forgotten to mention before in my Orion Pictures material. We saw this movie in the theater back in the summer of 1989 so seeing the credits, etc. on TV reminded me of some more details.
1) Michael St. Gerard who played Elvis in the short lived TV series “Elvis – The Early Years” also played Elvis in a small part in this movie.
Perhaps the most intriguing thing about the timing of the release of this particular movie from Orion Pictures was that it came out in 1989…right on the heels of Gail Brewer-Giorgio’s New York Times Best Selling book “Is Elvis Alive?” which was all the rage in 1988. Those who have read Gail’s book will recall that Jerry Lee Lewis was a prominent topic in that book along with Orion (the singer).
footnote to the above:
SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2016
I haven’t posted any new articles relating to my Orion Pictures Corp. evidence in a while. I just finished reading Jerry Schilling’s book and, near the end, there is another piece of substantiating evidence. After Elvis left, Jerry became the manager for The Beach Boys, Billy Joel and Jerry Lee Lewis. Below you will see a single paragraph from Jerry’s book in which he states that he got Jerry Lee actively involved in the soundtrack for Great Balls of Fire which was an Orion Pictures production. This is only another small piece of the puzzle. I hope everyone will take the time to review my documentation regarding Elvis/Jesse/Orion Pictures and Orion the singer.
1989, Great Balls Of Fire, Movie, Technical Advisor …
Jerry’s book may be purchased on Amazon. com as shown below:
Also very interesting to note that Orion Pictures released another movie which featured a lot about Jerry Lee Lewis, and for whom Jerry Lee did the soundtrack. That movie is “Breathless” and it was the “transition” of Orion from the singer to the movie industry in 1983. The Killer, The King album was released in 1982 at the end of the singer’s prominence.
Please see my Orion pages to read the full details about “Breathless“.
If anyone doubts one syllable of the above article, I challenge them to do some research and find that the above is absolutely the truth. Does all of this Orion Pictures material not have enough Elvis connections to convince even the most skeptical among us?
Also, “Great Balls of Fire” will air again on the MGMHD channel this coming Monday, September 16, 2013 at 1:40 PM EDT if anyone would like to watch for some of the details mentioned above.

This is an expanded update to the earlier posts below on this page. Please forgive the repetition. This is good stuff!!!
WHAT’D I SAY? JERRY LEE AND “FRIEND”
YOU MUST HEAR WHAT JERRY LEE SAYS IN THE FADE OUT AT THE VERY END OF THE SONG. Then decide for yourself. See below for the link to YouTube where you may watch and hear the entire song. Turn the volume all the way up at the end and listen to what Jerry Lee says in the fade-out after the end of the song.
Please bear in mind when you reach your conclusion that the official statement is that Jimmy Ellis (Orion) over-dubbed Jerry Lee’s old version of this song. So, who is Jerry Lee speaking to at the end in the fade out?
My vote is for Elvis as this song was also on the same Duet’s album as the song “Save The Last Dance For Me” which Elvis and Red West both told James Bacon that Elvis did the song “to help Jerry Lee out“…before 1977, of course!:) But in regard to this particular song, why did they lie later by saying that Jimmy Ellis over-dubbed it when it is certainly apparent that the other person on this record was actually present at the recording? Make up your own mind.
My opinion is that Elvis did record some songs and that Shelby Singleton was covering for a second reason…possible legal action by RCA. If Elvis had actually recorded these songs before 1977, then he was in breach of contract with RCA. Perhaps some of the songs which Mr. Singleton was releasing on his Sun Records label actually were legally property of RCA. Then too, if Elvis was recording some songs after 1977, it would prove that he is alive which would open up a whole new can of worms for everyone.
A friend also tells me that Jimmy and Elvis did switch places some times. It is my firm belief that Jimmy Ellis did act as a cover for Elvis after 1977 which allowed Elvis to record if he wished and probably even made it possible for Elvis to appear in Orion’s shows occasionally. As I stated in regard to “Save The Last Dance For Me“, I believe that the reason that Elvis told James Bacon, the Hollywood columnist, that he had recorded that song with Jerry Lee was to prepare a foundation upon which he could perform after he “retired” if he wished to. Elvis must have had a very good reason to tell the columnist that he recorded that song…because by doing so, he risked making it public that he was recording outside of his contract with RCA. Also, Elvis and Jimmy Ellis were friends, as I proved by the page from Joe Esposito’s book. I believe that all of the inconsistencies were deliberate to keep the fans and general public confused…to cover for Elvis. Remember that Elvis said in the 1981 taped conversation that there were people who “helped me to continue without bringing me too far out into the open.” Yes, that tape really was Elvis. Again, Darlock was someone brought out to”cover”. Remember also that, in that same tape of conversations, Elvis said that they were going to put out an album and that it would be the best. He said that it could not be done before because of contracts. Maybe he was referring to “The Killer, The King“.
Elvis made that statement in 1981 and this album came out in 1982. Also, this was at the same time that Jimmy Ellis as Orion was winding down.
Also, you may watch and listen to the entire song on YouTube
The owner of this video is JerryLeeLewisTV . As you will see, this person also believes that this is “The King“. My thanks to this person for compiling and sharing this wonderful version of “What’d I Say?” Please take note also that the last syllable of the comment at the end is chopped off. This is also true of another YouTube video of this very same song. Evidently the source of both these versions was the same. Also, on “The Killer, The King” album, the entire comment is chopped off right at the end of the music. Again, please draw your own conclusion based on all of these facts.
Below is my own copy of “What’d I Say”. I made this copy from my own Duets album. It is the ONLY record that I am aware of which does have the full comment at the end of the song. Here you will hear Jerry Lee say, in the fade out on which I have magnified the sound, “Man, you’re with it tonight, ELVIS!”. This comment has either been chopped off short of the name or completely removed altogether on every other version that I have heard and it was re-released several more times. So WHY was this done, you may ask. It was done to remove Elvis’ name on ALL of the subsequent versions; and to remove the comment to make it appear that Jimmy Ellis was telling the truth when he claimed that he had over-dubbed Jerry Lee’s original songs. Either way you slice it, hearing this full exclamation by Jerry Lee at the end of this fantastic song proves that there was a cover up of who was singing with Jerry Lee. One can clearly hear the second syllable of the word “Elvis“. So, no one can say that he was saying “Ellis”. Also, no one can say that he was saying “Ellis” since they had put out the lie that Jimmy Ellis over-dubbed Jerry Lee’s older song.
I owned a taped copy from this album which I kept in our car and played all the time. It was not until one day when I had the volume turned way up that I heard this comment. I was ecstatic to say the least.

Metromedia deal and beyond…
In 1997 MGM acquired Metromedia‘s studio properties (Orion Pictures, Goldwyn Entertainment and the Motion Picture Corporation of America).
Goldwyn Entertainment traced its origins to Samuel Goldwyn Inc. The Orion Pictures production house had been formed in 1978 as a joint venture between Warner Bros and three former UA executives (inc Arthur Krim) after disputes with UA parent Transamerica. During 1982 Orion merged with tv producer Filmways, Inc. (which owned American International Pictures). Metromedia become majority owner in 1988, after initial investment in 1986. Orion went into bankruptcy in 1992, emerging in 1996.

I have just finished creating another new video relating to the whole Orion records story. I will insert below the description which I posted for my video on YouTube and that will give everyone some idea of why I have created a second video focusing on the same song. This is worth hearing and reading, I promise.
Elvis is Alive: “What’d I Say” from the DUETS album Jerry Lee Lewis and Friends
Linda Sigmon
Published on May 27, 2018
PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION TO UNDERSTAND…
This video is a different copy of the WHAT’D I SAY SONG which I shared on another video. This song has a statement made by Jerry Lee Lewis during the fade-out at the end which proves that the song was NOT an overdub by Jimmy Ellis. The later releases of this very same song, have the fade-out statement edited out.
This is absolutely Elvis singing on this song.
This album was released in 1979 by the same company and with the same format as that which was used in all of the ORION albums which followed.
One may say that Elvis recorded this song BEFORE he left in August, 1977. As he did with the one song SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME. Even if this is true, this album and the subsequent album on which this song and many others with Elvis were released, should have been recognized as being Elvis and should have been a huge hit because it was new material by Elvis.
However, when the ORION albums began being released on the heels of this album with NEW songs which were plainly sung by Elvis himself, why did it continue to be stated so adamantly that Jimmy Ellis overdubbed the earlier songs? One may say that it was a cover-up to avoid legal problems with RCA. But, if that were true, then why in the world would they risk putting out other brand new songs which were so obviously sung by Elvis? There were Washing Machine, a number of songs on the Rockabilly Orion album, Lay Around and Love on You, etc.
This one song absolutely and concretely proves that ALL of these songs were NOT overdubbed. Jerry Lee on this song was plainly singing WITH Elvis and makes the comment to ELVIS at the end of the song. You can hear Jerry Lee say the word El-VIS at the end of this song. It is not the softer sound of Ellis. I have put this ending on here twice so that everyone may hear it.
Below is the original release of this song by Sun Records. I am displaying the front cover of the record sleeve as well as the back cover which bears a lengthy commentary from a Billboard article.
Below you will see the actual records which were put out by Sun Records in 1978. As you can see the very first release was on black vinyl with the original Sun label showing Memphis, TN. This is the one in the record sleeve shown above. This one read “Jerry Lee Lewis and Friends“.
Take note of the changes to the label when they released it again on the gold vinyl. I have no record sleeve for the gold vinyl. The gold vinyl, in my opinion, signaled the change to Jimmy Ellis and Orion. All of the original Orion albums were on Gold Vinyl…at least all of mine are on gold vinyl. You will note that it says only “Jerry Lee Lewis” on the second release. Also, the label is Shelby Singleton’s label rather than the original Memphis, TN Sun Record label.
And thus the controversy began…It is interesting to note that “Save The Last Dance For Me” was NOT included on the THE KILLER, THE KING album, see the next article below. However, many other songs from the above “Duets” album by Jerry Lee are included in the The Killer, The King album.
Elvis Presley & Jerry Lee Lewis – Save The Last Dance For Me
My album was a used one and did not have the portrait included. I located a seller who had this same album for sale on Ebay and I wrote asking what was on the portrait. He wrote me back that the portrait was just the photo used for the front cover of the album. The piano and guitar. Below is a copy of my Email response from this seller:
The following is an update to the original page:
MONDAY, MAY 21, 2018
For several days I have been busy creating some videos for my YouTube channel in order that I can share them here on my website.
These videos are music with some substantiating images. Ever since 1988 when I first learned of Orion (the singer) and began buying the records, I have been firmly convinced that SOME of the songs released as Orion are actually sung by Elvis himself. After listening to the songs repeatedly over the years, I can tell that there are two ORION voices…one is, of course, Jimmy Ellis while the second voice is Elvis himself.
Some years ago, I brought this subject up to Jesse. When I told him that I have always believed that he sang some of the ORION songs. He responded “Yes.” I did not question him any further to ask the titles of any of the songs which he sang. However, there are some songs that I am firmly convinced that he sang.
I have been uploading from one album and a 45 RPM record three of these songs and turning them into videos. I have added them to my YouTube channel. I will display these videos below. I hope everyone will enjoy hearing these songs.
I have already placed them onto my Facebook pages over the weekend. I could not gain access to my website over the weekend. Thus I could not post them on here until today. This problem is caused, once again, by our living in a very rural area and only having one option for Internet connection. My site is extremely large and therefore it takes it longer to load. Our ISP speed is not as high as some others and it times out before my huge site can load. We have increased our speed about 2 weeks ago and I am still having the same issue. So, when I am absent, that is the cause many times. I am sorry for this inconvenience to my visitors.
Before I post my own new videos of the songs which I believe are NOT Jimmy Ellis but are Elvis, I am going to post a video of Jimmy Ellis singing in order that you will have it clear in your mind what Jimmy Ellis sounds like.
The first video which I created is the song “What’d I Say” from the “The Killer, The King” album which was released in 1982. In the 1981 taped phone calls, Elvis told his friend about there being some people who were helping him to continue without bringing him too far out into the open. He also said that there was a new album coming out which he thought would be good and that it could not be done before because of contracts and things. It is my firm belief that “The Killer, The King” is the album about which he was speaking.
Below is my video of “What’d I Say“…
Elvis is Alive: What’d I Say – The Killer, The King album. You will hear that they chopped off the comment by Jerry Lee at the end of the song on this album.
You are hearing a song from the album THE KILLER, THE KING which was released in 1982. This coincided with the singer Orion’s ending for a time. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION.
Jesse has told me that I am correct in believing and saying that some of the Orion songs were done by him. Of course, Jimmy Ellis was the front person of Orion and did record the majority of the songs. However, this also gave Elvis a vehicle to record himself after he left on August 16, 1977. All of the songs on this album were previously released by Sun Records as Orion. All of the songs on this album are some of those Orion songs which I had always felt sure were really Elvis.
Jimmy Ellis was a very talented singer and that is why he was good enough to front for Elvis on occasion. You will see that Mr. Don Tweedy wrote a statement for the back of this album in which he all but says the name “Elvis”. As you can see Mr. Tweedy was a famous and highly respected man in the music industry and had done work for Elvis himself as well as other big name stars and big name TV shows, etc. Mr. Tweedy KNEW who the “GUEST” on this album was.
There is a recording of some telephone conversations with Elvis in 1981. On that recording, you may hear Elvis say that there are some people who are helping him to continue without bringing him too far out into the open. He mentions that they are getting ready to put out an album which he thinks will be good. An album which could not be done before because of contracts. I believe that this is the album about which he was speaking. As time permits, I may create and share videos of some of the other songs on this album. There is also a single which I would like to share.
My third ORION song video did not come from the above album. This one was released many years later, in 1989, as a 45 RPM single under the Orchid of Memphislabel.
This was one of my videos that were included in my original YouTube channel. It was lost during the reconstruction of my channel. This has always been one of my favorite songs which I believe to have been recorded by Elvis himself. This record was released in 1989 in conjunction with the Orion the singer collection. While listening to this song, please bear in mind that Elvis did confirm to me himself that SOME of the Orion songs were actually him singing. Enjoy!!!
Below is someone else’s video of this same song with better sound quality than my own. The music has been edited in this version, but not the voice.
<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
I have discussed with Jesse the fact that, since 1988, I have firmly believed that some of the ORION songs were actually sung by Elvis. Jesse confirmed that I am correct. I did not ask any questions about which songs are really Elvis. So, I am still going by my own hearing of the two different voices on the ORION songs. This song is one which I have always believed to be sung by Elvis rather than Jimmy Ellis. After listening to the songs for about 30 years, I can still distinctly hear that there are two voices on the songs. It is blatantly evident when there is any speaking at all on a performance. Jimmy’s speaking voice is extremely different from Elvis’. I hope everyone will enjoy this song and not be upset that it is my very firm belief that this ORION song is by Elvis, who IS Jesse, himself.
This movie and soundtrack featuring Jerry Lee Lewis is the “trail of crumbs” to guide the fans from the Orion the singer, who was ending around 1981, and The Killer, The King album which was released in 1982, on to the Orion Pictures work. This movie was released in 1983.Please don’t overlook below that it shows“Breathless” was “AN ORION PICTURES RELEASE“.
Below are the images of the Orion Pictures video box for the movie “Breathless” for which the Jerry Lee Album, above, was used as the soundtrack. Thus carrying forward the Jerry Lee involvement with the Orion the singer recordings onto the Orion Pictures work. This front cover is from the first release of this movie on home video and was released by ORION itself.
Below is the back cover of the above release of Breathless by Orion Pictures.
As you can see on the above back cover…Breathless was first released in 1983…making it a perfect vehicle to guide the Orion the singer fans (who believed that Elvis himself was involved) on to Orion Pictures. THE KILLER, THE KING (which was the culmination of the Orion the singer controversy) was released in 1982.
The above image is the back cover of the Orion video box for “BREATHLESS” which was the second release of this movie on VHS. This version was put out by MGM / ORION. See below the bottom of this cover… I have shown this above on this page but not in as much detail
Please take note of the fact that the main character is named “Jesse“…a man who is running away from his past in a Cadillac convertible. But, no matter how fast he runs, he can’t leave his past behind. “Jesse“, in this movie, is a huge fan of Jerry Lee Lewis…thus the soundtrack album.Below is the excerpt from the above to which I want to call your attention:
Below are the documenting copies of the cover of the THE KILLER, THE KING album. ALL of the songs on this album are duets with Jerry Lee and are songs which have previously been released as part of the Orion the singer projects.
The following is taken from a YouTube music video by Jim Stover in which the description tells of some of Mr. Tweedy’s credits:
Produced by Don Tweedy, you can hear those “honey” string passes he was known for. Don did many of Bobby Goldsboro’s hits beginning with “Honey,” and he also worked with Elvis Presley, Roger Miller Bobbie Gentry and many other top artists of the day. We recorded this version in Nashville in June 1977. The song has also been covered by singers Rick Smith and Terri Hollowell. (Words & music by Jim Stover, copyright 1975)
I believe that I have sufficiently presented enough background information about Mr. Tweedy to safely say that he is a highly respected professional who would not put his name and statement on an album unless he was positive about whom he was writing. He WAS writing about ELVIS.
Below is the image of the actual blue vinyl record ofTHE KILLER, THE KING. It is interesting to note that Elvis’s final album in 1977 was Moody Blue and was also on blue vinyl.
Once more, for good measure, here are the list of songs on THE KILLER, THE KINGalbum.
<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
Below are other album covers from Sun International in Nashville which were released as part of the Orion recordings. One of the covers is very interesting to say the least.
Please take note that on the front cover of “TRIO” which lists “+ Friends“, that in the back ground, there is the silhouette of a man who does not look like Elvis…now, wait until you see the art work on the back of this same album!!!!
…now look at the silhouette in the background on the back cover of this same album. Do you see Elvis’s unmistakable profile!?!
You will also note that the songs with Jerry Lee “Money” and “Good Rockin’ Tonight” are both included on the THE KILLER, THE KING album.
Below is my favorite of the Orion albums.By that I mean the albums which were released straight out as being Jimmy Ellis Orion. There are some really great songs on this one. I do believe that you will recognize the voice of Elvis on some of these songs…Long Tall Sally for instance.
I have always (since 1988) really liked to listen to this particular song because of the lyrics. He even changed one word to make it about him trying to keep from being seen after 1977. Listen to where he says “…saw Uncle John with bald-headed Sally…saw aunt Mary coming, so I ducked back in the alley“.
Also, I love that the repeated words are “Everything’s all right. Gonna have some fun tonight. Everything’s all right...“ I take these words as a message from him that he is OK and having a good time after 1977. At the end he says “all right, Charlie!“…could it maybe be Charlie Hodge?
Also, on this song when he speaks, it is absolutely the voice of Elvis. Jimmy Ellis does not sound exactly like Elvis when he speaks.

Page #92 from Joe Esposito’s Book “Celebrate Elvis Volume 1“
This proves that Jimmy “Orion” Ellis was friends with Elvis and Joe:
It is also interesting to note the below photo of Charlie Hodge with Jimmy (Orion) Ellis. Perhaps this was taken during some of the recordings.

The following letter to me in 1991 states that the endorser of this lithograph was a friend of Elvis’s who was with Orion Pictures.

Below is the documentation relating to the Orion movie Farewell To the King about which I wrote on the preceding page.
Below is the front cover of the Orion home video box for the above movie:
Below is the back cover showing Orion:
Below is the link to a YouTube video which shows the last apx. 8 minutes of this movie. You will be able to hear some of the important lines from the movie in these few minutes. When he tells a little girl about the songs “…your children and their children, and the songs will make you strong and you won’t need me any more.” In the song The Last Farewell, it tells of a “ship rigged and ready in the harbor and tomorrow for old England she sails.... In this clip you will notice that the men taking the King away speak with British accents. After the soldier allows him to escape and swim back to an island, you will hear the soldier speak something like “I’ll always know he is out there…a free man. I hope he found his valley somewhere.” As I have written before, the last sentence of course brings Elvis’s song “Peace In The Valley” to my mind.
The Last Farewellwas one of the songs which Elvis recorded in the Jungle Room at Graceland in Feb. 1976. Don’t forget that Jesse said that he first planned his “retirement” to take place in 1976. He said that he “chickened out“. So this song was meant to be a true farewell.
Below is a YouTube video of the ocean and ship while playing Elvis singing this song. It is so amazingly beautiful and touching. The footage accompanying this video of Elvis’s song also meshes quite well with the video of Farewell To The King.
#2 – Most Discussed (Today)) – Music – France Remixed new version sound live unreleased and video edit by DJ_Ethan in 2011. “The Last Farewell” is the title of a song from 1971 by the British-Kenyan folk singer Roger Whittaker. The song has since been covered by many artists. In 1976, Elvis Presley included “The Last Farewell” on his album, “From Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee”. This version was released as a posthumous single in the UK in 1984, and it reached #48 on the UK Singles Chart in December of that year.
Update: October 1, 2017
This is just beautiful. I can never get enough of listening to Elvis singing this song and thinking back to the parallels to the Orion movie “Farewell to the King“. Please watch this movie after listening to this song if you have never done so.
The images below are substantiating of my written details on the preceding page. This is the comic book titled ARMY OF DARKNESS – SHOP TILL YOU DROP DEAD “Hail to the King“
Below you will see that the comic book is copyrighted by Orion Pictures 1993 – 2005 and MGM as well as Dynamite Entertainment, Inc.
Be sure to look about midway through the small print of the copyright text to find Orion Pictures in the greatly enlarged copy below:
Below is a page from the comic book which shows that the “hero” is definitely a caricature of Elvis.

The movie “Finding Graceland” has caused many raised eyebrows. It is the story of a drifter who claims to be Elvis Presley…who faked his death.
This movie had ties to EPE… some filming was actually done at Graceland.
Priscilla Presley also was involved in the production of this film which many
found interesting in that she would be involved in a movie about Elvis being alive.
The thing that I found most interesting about the production of this movie has to do with an Orion Pictures connection. This movie was produced by Largo Entertainment and TCB Productions. As you will see below, Largo Entertainment had established an ongoing association with Orion Pictures. Also, this association began the year beforethe release of “Finding Graceland” in 1998.
<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
September 3, 2013 – footnote to the following article: When I originally came across the following news article, the date of publication was Jan. 8, 1997. However, when updating this page, I visited another link for the article and the date was not the same.
Keep in mind that this new union was in place for the filming, production and distribution of “Finding Graceland“…a movie which Elvis’s ex-wife took part in the making of and which was a story line based on the fact that Elvis faked his death and was making his way back to Graceland.
Largo was the production company for “Finding Graceland“.
Orion Pictures and Largo Entertainment
have inked a multipic pact making Orion the domestic distrib in all media for
two feature films produced by Largo and another to be co-financed by both
companies.
The Largo pics are the John
Irvin-helmed crime drama “City of Industry,” slated for a March 7 opening, and “This World, Then the Fireworks,” directed by Michael Oblowitz and pegged for a summer release after a Sundance film fest premiere.
Orion senior exec VP Steve Stabler
confirmed the deal, saying, “This is the formation of a strategic
alliance for the production and distribution of feature films by Largo and Orion with a view toward continuing in the future.”
Largo chairman Barr Potter told Daily
Variety, “This is the culmination of a longterm dialogue. Steve Stabler and
(Orion senior exec VP) Brad Krevoy are terrific producers with a proven track
record.”
Under Orion marketing chief John Hegeman and domestic distribution head Jay Peckos, Orion is understood to be ramping up its motion picture releasing operation with a view toward putting 16 films on U.S. screens this year. Orion had a multipicture deal with Live Entertainment that has ended with Steven Buscemi’s “Trees Lounge.” But the Largo deal signals the opening of an aggressive acquisitions campaign, according to Krevoy, in order to fill the Orion
pipeline.
“This deal sends a message to all filmmakers, especially those at Sundance, that Orion is backinto acquisitions,” said Krevoy. Orion also has “Ulee’s Gold” premiering at Sundance this year.
Three-pic deal includes ‘City,’ ‘This World’
footnote: take notice that the third movie of their 3 film deal was conveniently not named in this article…the 3rd film was most likely Finding Graceland.
The King of Rock-n-Roll lives! On his way across New Mexico, Byron Gruman picks up a hitch-hiking impersonator who says he’s Elvis Presley really. Skeptical and trying to shake the memory of his wife’s death, Byron just wants to drop Elvis off at his Memphis destination. Instead, he finds himself won over by this King, much like everyone they meet including a sexy Marilyn Monroe look-alike. I have been adding a number of new videos on my YouTube channel which substantiate more of the Orion records information which I have on here. I invite everyone to my channel to see and hear further proof of the statements shown here.
I HAVE NOW POSTED LINKS BELOW TO ALL OF THE SONGS WHICH WERE RELEASED IN 1982 ON THE “THE KILLER, THE KING” ALBUM. AGAIN, JUST LISTEN FOR YOURSELF AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK. 🙂 Please bear in mind that all of these songs were originally part of the Orion saga. These songs have been added on YouTube under various artists credits…however, they are all the original ORION songs.
The following links are to YouTube videos which are not my own. The name of the owner will be shown beside each song.
I extend my appreciation to each of these people for their work in providing these videos for others to enjoy.
BELOW IS STILL ANOTHER INSTANCE OF THE NAME “ORION” APPEARING IN CONNECTION WITH ELVIS.
ELVIS ONCE STATED THAT “THERE ARE NO COINCIDENCES. EVERYTHING HAS A MEANING“.
I HAVE COME TO FULLY APPRECIATE AND BELIEVE THAT HE WAS CORRECT.
WE MAY NOT UNDERSTAND THE REASON FOR SOMETHING WE ARE GOING THROUGH WHILE WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF SOME UNPLEASANT SITUATION. BUT AS TIME PASSES AND THE PATTERN BECOMES MORE CLEAR, IN HIND SIGHT, WE CAN SEE THAT EVEN THE BAD THINGS HAVE HAPPENED WHEN THEY SHOULD AND AS THEY SHOULD…FOR A PURPOSE IN OUR LIVES.
WITH THAT IN MIND, I CONTINUE TO STRIVE TO SHARE THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT ELVIS/JESSE.
The book titled “The Death of Elvis – What Really Happened” was written by two men,Thompson and Cole, who researched and help provide material for the hour long TV (Geraldo) 20/20 program entitled“The Elvis Cover-up“. These men appeared on talk shows later on relating their “findings“.
This book was published in hardback here in the states in 1991 by Delacorte Press, Bantam Doubleday Dell Publishing Group, Inc.
Yes, there was indeed a “cover-up”. The “cover-up” was not of what caused Elvis’ death. But rather the fact that there was NO death of Elvis.
This all played in Elvis/Jesse’s favor though…in that it solidified the fact that Elvis really did die. Reinforcing the truth of his death in the public’s mind.
I state the above only as a means of laying the ground work for the interesting turn of events involving this book and the name “ORION“.
This book was published later on, in 1993, byORION BOOKS LTD, ORION HOUSEin London.
Below you will see the scanned cover and copyright pages from this book. This will document that which I have written.
Also, it was no “coincidence” that Joe blurted out on the Geraldo show in June,1990“…and that’s how Elvis feels about this situation“ That one event proved how inept Geraldo really is as the great investigator he brags of being. He wasn’t even listening to what Joe said…Joe’s comment went right over Geraldo’s head.
If you look inside the front cover of the hardback copy of the above book, you will see that it specifically spells out that Elvis did not commit suicide and refers to Albert Goldman as the person who told that lie.
Elvis/Jesse does not want anyone to ever think that he committed suicide. That is why Joe was so aggravated with Albert Goldman and David Stanley on the Geraldo show.
Here is the link to my page dedicated to this show with Joe:
Here are
copies of the dust cover showing this statement:
Perhaps this is the reason that this book was published byORIONin London.

ANOTHER NEW ORION MOVIE CLUE GREAT ELVIS CONNECTION – FUN TO WATCH AND HEAR!
Please do take time to visit this link and watch the film trailer for theOrionmovieShe-Devil. You won’t have to even pay close attention to catch the Elvis significance in this. Just enjoy! 🙂
Some of the Elvis tie-ins in the Orion movies are just so bold and right out there like flags waving while others are smaller things that mostly only true Elvis fans would catch. It makes me think of the way that Alfred Hitchcock use to make tiny cameo appearances in his movies.
I have enjoyed all of this so much since 1988. It is almost like a secret club…start checking some of them out. But be sure to watch this trailer…you will be very pleased that you did.
She-Devil Official Trailer #1 – Ed Begley Jr. Movie (1989) HD
THE FOLLOWING IS A HUGE EXAMPLE OF “THE EVENTS OF SYNCHRONICITY” INVOLVING ELVIS AND ORION PICTURES. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE THOSE WHO WILL NOT ACCEPT MY THEORY REGARDING THE CONNECTION BETWEEN ELVIS AND ORION PICTURES (THE MOVIE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION COMPANY) NOR TO THE SINGER ORION. SO, FOR THIS TIME, I WILL REFER TO IT IN THE ABOVE TERM.
NO ONE ON EARTH CAN DISPROVE ONE SINGLE INCIDENT WHICH I HAVE DISPLAYED RELATING TO THE “COINCIDENCES” RELATING TO ELVIS AND ORION PICTURES, NOR THOSE WITH THE SINGER, ORION.
WITH ALL OF THAT BEING SAID, I VERY PROUDLY DISPLAY A NEW YOUTUBE VIDEO WHICH I CREATED RECENTLY. I WAS ABLE TO GO AHEAD AND GET THE VIDEO COMPLETED AND SET UP ON YOUTUBE BUT AM JUST NOW GETTING AROUND TO PRESENTING THE VIDEO ALONG WITH THE DESCRIPTION HERE ON MY WEB SITE.
I DO PLAN TO ADD ONE MORE VERY SIGNIFICANT PIECE OF EVIDENCE ABOUT THIS ARTICLE. IT WILL BE A LITTLE WHILE, THOUGH, AS I HAVE TO GO SEARCHING FOR THE ITEM I WANT TO SCAN. IF I CAN FIND IT, I KNOW YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY AND EXCITED TO SEE IT…SO PLEASE JUST CHECK BACK IN A FEW DAYS.
ONCE MORE, HERE IS IRREFUTABLE PROOF OF THE CONNECTION AND/OR ASSOCIATION OF ELVIS WITH ORION PICTURES.
BELOW IS MY YOUTUBE DESCRIPTION OF MY VIDEO:
ENJOY:
🙂
In Feb., 1990, during the airing of the TV SERIES ELVIS: THE EARLY YEARS, Orion Pictures’s previews of their movie RoboCopwere aired during the commercial breaks of the very first and second episodes. Then immediately following the second episode, the movie RoboCop aired. So this is further documentation of the Elvis and Orion connection.
It was so exciting for me to see the second Elvis…episode end with the announcement of “RoboCop…next” while the closing credits of the Elvis episode were still running. Then there is the beautiful ORION Pictures logo. Please visit my earlier pages for background material regarding Elvis being alive and connected with the name ORION…singer and movies.
In my below video, you will see all of the commercial breaks and the RoboCop movie opening at the end of episode 2.
Continuing the train of thought about Elvis/Jesse and Orion Pictures. I recalled an article from a book which I had photo copied at the library 20+ years ago. This article was all about the forming of the corporation Orion Pictures. There were several very interesting and important things mentioned in this article which I think everyone will find most interesting as it relates to things “Elvis”. First of all, below is an excerpt from one of the pages in which several of the 5 public figures who organized the company stated that the name for the company was chosen because of “NUMEROLOGY“…now who do we know who would base a name upon numerology?!
Please recall that on one of my Orion pages, very recently, I explained that Jesse had told me how he helped to choose the name for his grandson Benjamin Storm based on Numerology; and I also stated the fact that the name of Orion Pictures exactly fits the very same formula from which he derived the name Benjamin Storm which has the 8 letters for Elvis/Jesse’s birth date and the 5 letters from the names Elvis and Jesse.
When you read the executives’ explanation of the naming of the company…you will understand that this formula was also used for naming Orion Pictures. Also, you will see that the author notes that there are 7 stars in the constellation of Orion but that there are only 5 public figures who started the company and he wonders about the “two silent partners“. Also, it is significant to note that the Orion logo which is seen at the beginning of every Orion movie is formed from the image of the Orion constellation and that the stars come together to form the O in Orion. Please also note that even though the Orion constellation only has 7 main stars, the logo is formed from 8 stars. There is the number 8 again…Elvis/Jesse’s “number“.
Here is the excerpt from this article:
Below is the link to a video of the Orion Pictures logo which appears in each of their movies…some variations…but always the same constellation and stars forming the O in Orion. There are many videos of this on YouTube if you care to take a look for more examples.
Also, the timing of the forming of the new corporation “early in 1978“ falls exactly in line with the time frame in which Elvis left the public stage and began his new private life as Jesse. It is reported by several people close to Elvis that he had expressed an interest into getting into the film industry from a production standpoint. Three who come to my mind are Joe Esposito, Elvis’s ex-wife, and Nancy Rook.
Here is another excerpt from this same article which does clearly state when the corporation was formed.
As we all know, Elvis did make four of his movies with United Artists and it certainly is reasonable to believe that he had formed a working relationship and, perhaps, friendships with these 5 executives. Here is a link to a search which I just did for Elvis Presley and United Artists and as you can see the relationship was substantial.
Elvis made 4 movies with United Artists: FRANKIE AND JOHNNY, KID GALAHAD, FOLLOW THAT DREAM, & CLAMBAKE.
The above excerpts were photocopied in the late 80′s to early 90′s from a book at our public library and I did fail to make note of the title of the book. The chapter which contained the above excerpts was titled THE PEOPLE – THE POWER – THE MONEY – THE MOVIES. The title of the book may have been AMERICAN FILM NOW…but I am not certain.
He also recorded some of his later soundtrack albums at the United Artists Recorders Studio on Sunset Blvd.
Below is an excerpt from the book THE ELVIS ENCYCLOPEDIA BY ADAM VICTORwhich details the deals made with United Artists and Col. Parker and Elvis.
Do I dare express an opinion here that the “two silent partners” in the Orion Corporation were perhaps Elvis and Col. Parker? Hm.m.m.m.m maybe!!!!
So, there is my latest ORION PICTURES/ELVIS/JESSE DOCUMENTATION.
If you think that this is just too much stuff to read and digest, then just imagine the last 25 years in my shoes of following details…especially back in the 80′s and early 90′s when there was no computer or Internet access. Most of my research was done in video rental stores and the public library in printed books and magazines.

It has been quite some time since I have added any new Orion Picturesdocumentation to my YouTube channel. So, I have spent this afternoon working on creating a new video proving the continued clues which were given in their movies to show Elvis fans that he is not gone and that he did continue some behind-the- scenes work in the movie industry. He had expressed an interest in doing this type of work before he left…it has been spoken of by Joe Esposito, Nancy Rook, Larry Geller, etc.
The film from which I have extracted clues for my video this time is Orion’s ROBOCOP 2. You will see that there are three major things in this movie and in the movie’s credits which are blatantly evidence put there by Elvis or those who do such things at his direction and suggestions. It is my theory that Elvis and perhaps Col. Parker were silent partners in Orion Pictures.
First you will see a woman sitting on the curb of the street wearing a red dress and holding a baby. This woman is unrecognizable because of the darkness, the hair falling over her face etc. She is nothing more than an extra…who would normally not be listed in the credits of a movie. However, because of who she is, she is listed in the credits. She is Linda Thompson. You may remember that I have posted Linda’s biography from IMDB.com before showing Robocop 2 as one of her acting credits…
The second thing which you will take notice of is this: Robocop walks into a huge building and he comes upon a “religious shrine” of sorts. When I edited it, I inadvertently left out the first image which is of Mother Teresa, but you will see a framed print of Jesus, and then…you will see a “shrine to Elvis”. It consists of a beautiful photo of Elvis, a guitar, a coffin with a skeleton in it depicting Elvis with jewelry, and with another photo of Elvis resting over the coffin. Weird…but still a great Elvis/Orion Pictures connection.
Then we fast forward to the credits: I have paused the credits in order that you may read the Linda Thompson credit. The second thing in the credits to which I especially want to call your attention is this: The song titled “The Kid Goes Wild” is shown as being co-published by “Little Elvis Music“. How ’bout that!?!
Also, the plot of this movie centers around an illegal drug and the police work of fighting this drug cult. Bear in mind, please, the documentation which I have shared proving Elvis’s hatred of street drugs and the hoodlums who push these drugs. You will see that I have a page devoted to the topic of Elvis’s federal drug enforcement work, DEA, as well as state, city, and county law enforcement agencies. His answer to me when I asked him if it is OK that I have my pages about his involvement with the federal government and other law enforcement was “Oh, yes. I know all kinds of people.“
I hope everyone will enjoy this newest ORION proof. As I have written before, I did ask Jesse about my having the Orion the Singer and Orion Pictures material on my site…telling him that I had always believed that some of the Orion songs were actually by him. He responded with “Yes!”. Also, I have printed out and sent to him ALL of my pages about Orion Facts, Orion Documentation, and my last Orion page regarding most of the Orion Pictures material originating from me. He recently told me that everything that I have on my site has been correct. So, I do have it on good authority that I am correct about my Orion material.
I feel certain there are entities who are monitoring my web site very closely and they must be saying to themselves “My God, where is she getting all this stuff!?! Won’t she ever run out of evidence??” LOL
Here are the movie production and distribution credits from IMDB.com: RoboCop 2 (1990)
Also, below I shall share the captured stills of the significant portions from the Robocop 2 video:
(1) Linda Thompson in Robocop 2, still capture from my video
(2) Linda Thompson’s name in the credits of Robocop 2 “Mother with baby”. Hers is the 6th name on the below list.
(3) Elvis “Shrine” from Robocop 2
(4) Elvis “shrine” from Robocop 2…continued
(5) Elvis “shrine” from Robocop 2…continued
(6) Robocop 2 still frame with Robocop and Elvis photo in same frame
(7) Robocop 2 credits: The song THE KID GOES WILD was co-published by LITTLE ELVIS MUSIC.
Please see the 4th line down in this still frame:
For those who would like to see this entire movie, I feel sure it can be purchased or rented very inexpensively. I believe that Ebay and Amazon.com would be two likely places for the best prices.*
*UPDATE SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2015
I have now been able to place a short video from this movie onto Dailymotion. Here you will see the above mentioned items just as they appeared in the Orion movie, Robocop 2.

Below is an audio of a song which came out on the Orion Rockabilly album. Below that is a performance of Elvis in 1974 of the same song. I love the Orion song and have always believed that it is Elvis on this particular song. Jesse confirmed that it is him on some of the Orion songs…but we have never discussed which songs are really done by him. I thought my visitors would enjoy hearing the Orion version of Long Tall Sally compared to the Elvis version of the same song. See what you think!
I thank my good friend, Lucilia, who shared this video with me on Facebook sometime ago. This is the first chance I have had to record the song from my Orion collection and load it onto my site.
This Orion album is available as an MP3 download on Amazon. If you are a Prime member, you may play some of the songs for no charge.
I have decided to not post further updates on the topic of Elvis/Jesse and Orion on this page. I have added a lot of new Orion information on to my Current News and Events pages. I hope you won’t mind visiting those pages for all of the new Orion articles. It is much easier for me to post new information on those pages rather than revisiting my existing pages to add new material. Also, this page is becoming much too long for enjoyable browsing for my visitors.
