Update on lighting ceremony tonight: They now are saying that it will start 15 minutes earlier than originally stated. Below is the current announcement:
I truly enjoyed seeing Trisha Yearwood tonight at the Graceland Christmas Lighting Ceremony. She was so perfect for that occasion. Seeing her brought to my mind a video which I posted on my site back in January of this year. As I am sure most of you know, Trisha is the wife of Garth Brooks. I was so thrilled with what Garth said in this interview. So, I want to share it with everyone again. Listen closely to what he says about Elvis.
As I also mentioned when I posted the video of Garth before, I love the song by Jesse “The Dance“. It is my favorite of the 15 songs which Jesse recorded. This song was, of course, recorded by Garth earlier. If you have not listened to this song in the music player at your top left screen, please do so now. Listen closely and you will see that Jesse changed one of the words to make this song about Elvis and his fans and his leaving us.
Watch Garth Brooks charm a tearful, joyful Hoda

A clearly starstruck Hoda Kotb welcomes country music legend Garth Brooks to vacationing Kathie Lee Gifford’s co-anchor seat. Brooks talks about his love for wife Trisha Yearwood.

I again thank my dear friend, Pat, who brought this video to my attention for the first time.

I am so happy to share that Jesse phoned me tonight. He is doing well. He sounded wonderful and we had a very enjoyable visit. Sure did make my day, as always.
I am sorry that there is nothing to share here this time. But, I knew everyone would be happy to know that he is just fine.

This sounds like a big event for those who are near Dallas, Tx or can travel there. It is being held at the Southfork ranch, no less. Sadly, J R won’t be present.

My friend, Lisa, shared this photo with me on Facebook and I like it very much. Please take note of what Elvis wrote in the note at the bottom left of the photo… My thanks to Lisa.

My friend, Jon, shared the two below photo comparisons with me. As you can see it shows Jesse’s and Elvis’ left arm as well as Jesse’s hair compared to Elvis’ hair in the Aloha concert. I thank Jon very much. We can never have too much evidence of the truth.

He’s certainly got my vote EVERY time!!!!

A good friend, Jeannette, shared this video with me. I had not heard these takes before and want to share them. As always, I love the comments by Elvis most of all…love to hear him being himself. My thanks to Jeannette.
I also thank Jeannette for sharing this photo with me. It is a fantastic comparison to Jesse…even though the expressions are different.

A nice person, whose Email address I do not recognize, sent the below video to be shared with Jesse. I am sharing it here for everyone to enjoy. Will also send the copy to Jesse. I am sorry that I do not know the name of the sender to thank and, of course, I won’t post their Email address here. Therefore, I hope that the sender will see this article and know that I do appreciate them.
One more treasure from Jeannette, to whom I send my thanks always. I want to share this one here so that I can include it for Jesse to see. I think he will enjoy watching this…I sure did. I am one of those “elders” who saw Elvis for the very first time on TV in 1956. I’ve never been the same since!!!
The Elders React watch and discuss the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley! Find out what it felt like to live during the heyday of one of the most influential artists of the world. Elders React airs every other Thursday!
I loved seeing this telegram which Elvis sent to Col. Parker in 1955. Elvis did keep his promise right up until the time the Col. passed away. They traveled some rocky roads…but he kept his promise.
My thanks to my friend, Lisa, who shared this with me.

I WISH A MOST BLESSED AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EACH OF THE VISITORS TO MY WEBSITE.

Once more a pretty comparison for all to enjoy…
Please take note that the cheeks and the vertical lines running down to the chin are identical. The crease at the corners of Elvis’ mouth were changed during the plastic surgery, it appears.

I want to share that Jesse phoned me earlier this evening and we visited for a few minutes. He is well and sounded wonderful. This week he watched a new DVD release of the Beatles which came out recently. He said he enjoyed it. Then he spoke to me about having met the Beatles. He said he had no problem with those guys…”there’s room for everybody“. He said he didn’t know what the media put out there. I told Jesse that I believe very little of what I see and hear in the media. He said that is good…because there are a lot of lies told.

I enjoyed hearing this first hand account about Elvis breaking up a fight at a gas station in June, 1977 in Madison, Wisconsin. Also, some footage of the concert during that same visit to Madison.
Elvis’ final tour. 24th June 1977, Dane County Coliseum, Madison, Wisconsin. This is restored fan footage from The Final Curtain boxed set. At the beginning there is a short piece about Elvis breaking up a fight at a service station on his way to the accommodation when he arrived in Madison
My friend, Jeannette, shared the following article with me on Facebook. I enjoyed reading it so very much and found it to be amazingly accurate. So, I want to share it here with my visitors also. This so perfectly describes the wonderful man with whom I have been friends for so many, many years. He is still of the same wonderful character as revealed in his handwriting in 1958.
Elvis Presley’s handwriting analysed. This article was published in three parts, in the British Picturegoer magazines on November 29, December 6, and December 13, 1958. The part “His Secret Character” was a part of the last article.

This is a good reminder for us all. This has to be my perspective due to the fact that I have so many demands and so many people clamouring for attention. It is good advice for all of us.
Jesse told me this once: “Just say “I was not put on this earth to live up to your expectations.” That, too, is excellent advice.

I HAVE STARTED A NEW PAGE FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, 2015
#ElvisHistory December 3, 1970 Elvis made a big donation of $7,000 to the LA Police community relations program, however, he requested that the gift could be stay unknown to the public. A little time later, Elvis received a gold commissioner’s badge from Chief Davis.
