Below is one of my favorite videos showing lots of Elvis’ hand-printed notes.

Elvis’ Notes to Self, The Inner Path

In Lak’ech   Uploaded on Aug 27, 2011

The notes you see are notes written by Elvis on the inside’s of various books he carried and on his notepad. It could be said that this is a glimpse into his Inner Path and Seeking.

I realize some pass very quickly, please feel free to enlarge the screen and pause to read each and ponder….

It has been well documented that throughout his life Elvis read over a thousand different books, encompassing a wide range of subjects related to philosophy, spiritual teachings and esoteric arts. It is my hope this shows you a peek into his very personal Spiritual Journey.

“My father’s library of spiritual books is amazing. I’ve gone through these books. They’re covered with his notes. He wrote on the top of the page, on the bottom of the page, in the margins – everywhere. You can hear him thinking when you read those notes” ~Lisa-Mary Presley

This is an excellent YouTube channel and I know you will enjoy other videos which this lady has shared.

Friends of The King Talk About Elvis’ Character Traits

I would like to make my visitors aware of another fine book about Elvis which offers a really good look into the inner man.

Many years ago, I purchased a book about Elvis’ spiritual search and enjoyed it so very much.  It was written by Jess Stearn based on the very-fresh memories of Larry Geller.  The first edition was published as “The Truth About Elvis” in 1980.

This edition is still one of my all time favorites.

A second edition was published as shown below in 1998, it was reissued under an updated title and front cover.  Below are the links to the purchase information from Amazon for both of these books.  I did purchase the 2nd version, but because I had read, loved and remembered so much from the first version, I didn’t learn as much from the second version.  The second version is titled “Elvis’ Search For God“.

The Truth About Elvis Paperback – April, 1980

by Jess Stearn (Author), Larry Geller (Author)

footnote:  I have written to Amazon and reported that their very brief description of the above book is a misrepresentation of the truth.  I assume that this description was submitted by one of the third-party sellers who didn’t bother to even read the book.  I don’t expect that Amazon will follow through on my point to make a correction.

The 2nd book:

This is just a cute little article that goes to show that Elvis really is everywhere.

Elvis is in the building

By Gerry Mulligan

Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:45 pm

Elvis Presley has got me all shook up.

The Chronicle editorial board meets every Wednesday to discuss the issues of the week. One Wednesday a month, we meet at the old courthouse in Inverness so it’s convenient for folks on the east side to meet with us.

Last week I walked into the old courthouse and there was a portrait of Elvis Presley on the wall, greeting me.

“Good morning,” I said to Elvis as I entered the building.

I did a double take because he appeared to wink at me.

On this date…

October 2, 1959 – Elvis Presley fans get rowdy in Germany, where fifteen fans marched through the streets of Leipzig making foul remarks about German music and  shouting “Long live Elvis Presley.” German officials quickly arrested the group for disturbing the peace.

Now, there’s a good cause worth standing up for and marching! Ha, ha!

Also on this date:

In 2002, the compilation album “Elvis 30 Number One Hits” went to number one in the U.S. and 16 other countries, 25 years after Elvis Presley’s death.

During a recent Tom Jones show:  “Jones introduced the gospel number “Didn’t It Rain” by reminiscing about the days when he would hear Elvis Presley sing gospel standards during after-hours parties in Vegas.”

While looking back through some of my old books, I came across the below excerpt which I enjoyed years ago and thought maybe my visitors and Jesse would like it too.  The following excerpt is from a book titled “Elvis in Private” (written by Peter Haning in 1987).  It is a collection of memories from friends and family who knew Elvis, the man.

This book is, of course, out of print as it was published almost 30 years ago.  However, copies may still be purchased from 3rd hand sellers on places such as Amazon.  I have included the link to the Amazon page for this book below.

First of all, here the excerpt of the interview which caught my eye today.  It is a quote from Gordon Stoker of the Jordanaires.

Yes, Elvis was very tired of being “Elvis Presley“.  He stated this fact to a number of people leading up to 1977…Wanda June Hill, Gene Smith…

I did see an interview with Gordon Stoker once when he said that someone called him saying that it was Elvis.  Gordon said that he hung up on the call.  What a shame for Gordon as it probably was really Jesse.  Jesse has stated that he has called people who hung up on him.  Also, during the many years of our friendship, Jesse has told me the names and a few details about some public figures with whom he has remained friends all these years.  One of those was J. D. Sumner who is gone now, as is Gordon Stoker.

I NEVER reveal anyone’s identity who does know Jesse now.  I don’t ever want anyone to be troubled in the least by nosy people who are looking for “Elvis“.  Most of all, I NEVER want anyone to track Jesse down and disrupt his lifestyle and peace of mind.  He does have concerns about this possibility because of all the fans who are so quick to believe stories such as the one about Mr. Bramer at Graceland and Pastor Bob Joyce.  This lets him know that people are looking for him and making photos and videos of anyone who they think may be him.

Jesse’s privacy, safety and contentment are the foremost things in my mind every single day.  That is why there has not been and never will be a single thing on my web site that could allow anyone to even begin to guess where he is.

Below are several more scans of the book from which the above excerpt was taken.

First of all, in the opening pages of the introduction, there was included a quote from Wanda June Hill’s book, We Remember, Elvis.  Wanda’s mission when she knew Elvis and afterward in writing her books was to defend and protect Elvis.  Which is my mission now to defend Elvis from before 1977 and to defend and protect Jesse now.

Here is the info for purchasing this book.  I take pleasure in recommending the GOOD books to others. There are way too many out there which are not a true portrayal of Elvis as a whole person.

I don’t know if we are able to get this TV channel or not…perhaps others will enjoy seeing the show.  As we all know, James Burton is THE BEST!

Below is a notice which I just posted in the Messages For Jesse.  It outlines the guidelines for the use of the Messages For Jesse page on this site.  I ask that everyone please read and abide by my rules of use when posting messages on my site.

Linda Sigmon on October 5, 2016 at 12:55 PM

Hi Everyone:

Because I have noticed some recent things taking place on this messages page , I feel that I must reiterate the stipulations pertaining to use of this page by my visitors.

The first thing I want to mention is this: Anyone who critiques the messages posted by others, whether on here publicly or privately to myself or Jesse, will be stopped from posting on this message page in the future.

Second of all, I must reiterate the rules governing the use of this page which are stated at the very top of this page. I do understand that new visitors probably are not reading the rules which are displayed on the top of this page when they come to post. Therefore, I shall paste the rules once more below. I ask that everyone who takes advantage of the privilege of writing to Jesse here on my site, please read and abide by the rules which I have put in place. I am not being critical of anyone…just reinforcing my stipulations. Below are the posted rules for use of this page:

I also must point out that Jesse does not have use of a computer or the Internet, therefore, I ask that you do not post links to other web site pages or videos. He does not have access to these things and I am unable to print out lengthy pages from other web sites nor am I able to make copies of the videos which you include in your messages. I apologize to those who are disappointed about this stipulation. But, as you can imagine, my plate is overflowing with things to take care of since my site has grown so large and there are so many visitors to the site. My health and the everyday demands on my time force me to set limits on what I can do.

I hope that everyone will understand that I am not singling anyone out and I certainly am not directing this message at anyone in particular.

Thank you all for understanding.

Love, light and peace to everyone

Below is another video which gives a glimpse into the man who was Elvis and who is Jesse now:

Elvis IN His Own Words

♫♪♪♫Elvis Presley King Of Music♫♪♪♫  Uploaded on Mar 9, 2011

Elvis was always thoughtful but always spontaneousness when he spoke about things. He always spoke with the ultimate manners, and considerate thought to others..The way he felt about the way he performed and about who he was- always was natural that is why he always will be The King Of Our Hearts!..

With great sense of humor about everything including himself, he talked to us and we learned how to just be kind ..nothing special to him.. just kind always to others that was Elvis!
He loved people and it always showed.

Another great post on Facebook from:

Legendary Elvis

The Return of the King. Gillian G. Gaar 2010:
Recording session Nashville, 1970….Norbut Puttnam admiits, “There wasn’t any doubt in my mind that Elvis Presley …was the greatest performer of contemporary music in the recording history of the world….” Jerry (Carrigan) professed to be more nonchalent (but) “Let me tell you something,” says Jerry, “When that door opened and he walked into that room, it was unbelievable. Mouths just dropped open, every one of us. I couldn’t believe it….You knew a star had walked in the room. It was amazing…He was really charismatic.” “Elvis in person was actually more beautiful than he photographed,” recalls Norbert. “You notice I used the word ‘beautiful’. That’s not a word I’d ever used to describe another man. If you had designed him, if you had Leonardo or someone do the perfect face, it would have been the way Elvis looked when he walked into the room…..”

Below is a very nice recording of one of Elvis’ very early performances.  This tape is wonderfully clear and high quality and I think perhaps Jesse will enjoy hearing it to bring back some early memories.

This was shared with me by my friend, Jeannette on Facebook, and I thank her very much.

New Elvis Presley Recording Discovered : I Forgot To Remember To Forget You

Elvis Presley Movie Trailers Published on Apr 15, 2016

A new Elvis Presley recording has been discovered and played online and we have the video and audio for you. The song is ‘I Forgot To Remember To Forget You’ from a Louisiana Hayride performance in 1955. The recording is said to be audio taped from a TV broadcast, just audio the actual film does not exist.

I have just created a new video on my Vimeo account which I think everyone will find interesting.  This video is made from a January 8, 2001 recording of an Unsolved Mysteries episode regarding “Twinless Twins” and involves Elvis’ feelings about Jesse.  I think this will help everyone to better understand why he chose to reinvent himself as Jesse after August 16, 1977.  As I have explained before, Jesse explained to me about “being Jesse now” during one of our phone conversations in the 90’s.  He first corresponded with me as Elvis because he knew that I didn’t know about Jesse yet.  He said that he could always feel Jesse with him and that Jesse deserved to live for 42 years as Elvis had.

In this video, please take notice that he told Larry Geller about a dream which he had about Jesse about one year before he “died“.  Remember that Jesse said that the plan was to have been carried out in 1976 but he “chickened out”.

Wanda June Hill has told me that Elvis spoke of Jesse to her and that he said that he could feel Jesse’s presence with him.

I do hope that everyone will find this video enlightening.  I loved it and that is why I still have the VHS tape of the show after all these years.

Elvis is alive as Jesse now. Twinless twins… from Linda Hood Sigmon on Vimeo.

I am only posting this in case someone among my visitors may be interested.  After seeing some of the priceless treasures which have slipped through the fingers of EPE, I am sad to see these auctions taking place.  It is very sad to me that some precious items have ever gotten into the hands of collectors in the first place.  One item in particular sticks in my mind…the very first record which Elvis recorded at Sun Records “That’s When Your Heartaches Begin“.  I find it hard to understand some of the less important things which EPE has hung on to compared to this historical record.  But, then…

Jesse called this afternoon and we were able to speak for a good bit.  He has some aches and pains, but is doing well. He has returned from traveling for a few days.  There is no news to share this time.  We just caught up on everyday things this time.  He mentioned some of the things going on with my web site which he noticed from my last letter.  He asked me to post one statement from him (after he asked if a person was annoying me).   Jesse told me to post the following from him:

If someone is upsetting my Baby Sister, then it upsets me.

It was so wonderful speaking with him as always.  He apologized to me that he can’t call more often.  His situation is such that he just cannot pick up the phone to call whenever he wants to.

Below is an update on the condition of James Burton’s son, Jeff.  I missed posting this until now…I am sorry.

James Burton

October 9 at 2:00pm ·

From the Burtons: Another praise report on Jeff. We went to the heart doctor regarding his two heart attacks which would forever take him off the transplant list and here is what the doctor said…Jeff had the heart attacks because of the stress from his body since the organs were trying to shut down and he was close to death.

Now that his organs are improving the heart has come back and is doing great and Jeff doesn’t need to see the heart doctor for SIX months. We sat there and Jeff was all smiles and I wanted to cry with joy because another incredible miracle had just happened. James took us out to a wonderful dinner to celebrate and we had a great time “THANKING GOD”. Jeff is still in the rehab center but is getting stronger everyday.

Words can never express how we love and appreciate you all. “Do not walk in fear, walk with the Word for I am the Lord that heals you”. Exodus 15:26 Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and love for our son Jeff. We love you all very much and will update again as more information is available. God bless you all…The Jeff Burton Family!

Below is my last public post on Facebook.  I posted this last night and left it on there overnight for others to see.  I then locked down my Facebook today.  I want to post my final message from there on here for those who may have missed my posted announcement on my Facebook homepage.  The deletion of all those on my list of friends was a blanket choice and certainly was not directed at anyone in particular.

Below is a very good mention of Elvis and his 1970 visit with President Richard Nixon in an article about the reopening of the Nixon Presidential Library.  The revolver which Elvis presented to Pres. Nixon is now on display in the new museum.  I shall only post a brief excerpt along with a link to the full article.

…the grand re-opening of the Richard Nixon Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, Calif., the former president’s birthplace. Other important politicians, such as former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and former California Gov. Pete Wilson, were also in attendance.

The $15 million project includes an exact replica of the 37th president’s Oval Office. It was designed in the original 1969 décor of California blue and gold, which was hand selected by first lady Pat Nixon.

The new space also features more than 300 artifacts, including the original revolver rock icon Elvis Presley gave Nixon during his impromptu visit to the White House in 1970. A photo featuring the two prominent figures shaking hands in the Oval Office is the most requested photo in the National Archives to this day.

Dr. Henry Kissinger, the former president’s secretary of state, gave the keynote speech at the event.

Also, on display is the photo of the famous handshake between Pres. Nixon and Elvis…

Here is a very good sample of Elvis’ hand printing from back in 1976 for those who may wish compare to the letter which Jesse wrote for me to post recently.  This is an old archive article which I have probably shared before sometime in 2012…but thought it would be a good example to use currently.

Fueled by adrenaline, Elvis Presley grabbed the first scrap of paper to hand to scribble down his set list before a show in Las Vegas.

Today that hastily-written scrap – actually an envelope – is tipped to sell for £4,000.

The King jotted down the running order of 15 of his hit songs ahead of the 1976 concert.

On the reverse he jotted down the words ‘Introduce Engelbert (Humperdinck) and Roy Orbison’.

Left, the set list scribbled on a hotel envelope by Elvis Presley, and right, a reminder on the reverse side for him to introduce singers Roy Orbison and Engelbert Humperdinck

This was a reminder for him to give a shout out to the two famous singers who were in the audience at the gig at the Hilton Hotel in Vegas.

The songs Elvis performed during the show included his classics Jailhouse Rock, Blue Suede Shoes and Can’t Help Falling In Love, which was his finale.

Elvis’ stage director and musician Charlie Hodge afterwards found the envelope lying around backstage after the concert and kept hold of it.

The piece of paper is now to be sold at auction accompanied by a letter of provenance from Hodge, who died in 2006.

Hodge explained the set list was a way of keeping track of the time Elvis was on stage during the concert.

He wrote: ‘I served as Elvis’ stage director and personal aide.

‘I would hand Elvis his scarves and water while on stage, help him with his set lists and also sang harmony on stage with Elvis.

Typical pose: Elvis performing his famous kneeling position during a performance in 1974

‘This Las Vegas Hilton envelope was a list of songs that Elvis had written out in his own hand for one of the shows at the Hilton… for Elvis’ last engagement there ever in December 1976.*

‘It was my job to keep track of how much time we had been on stage and this list of songs was kind of a way to keep track.’

The white envelope, that measures 7.5ins by 3.7ins, is being sold by Julien’s Auctions in Los Angeles.

Auctioneer Darren Julien said: ‘This item comes with very solid provenance. The handwriting is perfect and undoubtedly that of Elvis.

‘This simple document gives us a fascinating insight into how Elvis almost chose at the last moment which songs he was to sing and in what order almost hours before he went on stage.

‘On the reverse Elvis wrote “Introduce Engelbert, Roy Orbison” who were evidently in the audience for his performance.’

Elvis’ last show in Vegas took place on December 12, 1976, and his last ever concert was on June 27, 1977 in Indianapolis in the US.

*I changed the above text to red to highlight that this was his very last show in Las Vegas in December, 1976 which, to me, makes it even more special.

I just signed a new petition this morning and I hope everyone who reads this will do the same.  The petition is to get the name of Memphis airport changed to Elvis Aron Presley Airport.  I do hope this will get approval this time.  We need all the signatures we can get.

Elvis is the only person from Memphis, TN whose name, face and voice are recognized in every corner of the world. He draws more international tourists to Memphis than any other person or event…not to mention all the domestic tourists who come.  He is the only person from Memphis, TN who is loved by people from all walks of life, all creeds, all races, all religions, etc.  Memphis certainly does owe this honor to Elvis.

Below is the Email which I received, after I signed the petition, for me to pass on to others:

I just signed the petition, “graceland: To get the Memphis airport named Elvis Aron Presley airport.”

I think this is important. Will you sign it too?

Here’s the link:

Please do pass this along to everyone you know.  Let’s just flood them with signatures this time.

I love this…

Union Station has seen its share of famous visitors passing through, including Elvis Presley who held five-year-old Margie Ann Crawford at the back of his train car during a 1960 stop in Dallas while enroute to Hollywood to make a movie. The Dallas Morning News recently tracked down the girl in this photo, now known as Margaret Ann Hollis. At the time when she kissed a “king,” she was wearing patent leather shoes and a crisp white dress covering layers of petticoats. Silk flowers adorned her tightly curled hair —done up just for the chance to see Elvis. On the back of a train car, Presley took her into his arms, and she planted a kiss on his cheek. A Dallas Morning News photographer captured the moment —and then it was all but forgotten – except by her.

Reisman: Elvis Presley for President!

Phil Reisman 5 p.m. EDT October 19, 2016

But in this weird election, anything seems possible.

Why, just the other day, I’m certain I saw Elvis shopping at Wal-Mart.

I told him I’d vote for him. “Thank you,” he said. “Thank you, very much.”

I really enjoyed seeing this animated version of Elvis’ visit in Dec. 1970 with Pres. Nixon.  I wish I could somehow record this in video form for Jesse to enjoy, but it is not in a form whereby I can accomplish that.  But, I think my visitors will enjoy seeing it.

The National Archives and Records Administration is the guardian of some of the nation’s most precious documents, like the parchment Declaration of Independence displayed under glass in its main building in Washington.

But in recent weeks, its real breakout star has been a patriotic squirrel from a 1953 newsreel, which has been viewed more than three million times since it was posted online as part of a collection of GIFs made from the archives’ holdings.

Wednesday, October 19, 2016 2:08 p.m. by Joe Cassady

Bruce Springsteen says seeing Elvis Presley and The Beatles perform changed his life. They encouraged him to pick up a guitar. Bruce Springsteen

Jesse told me, when we spoke just last week, that he is going to be reading Bruce Springsteen’s new book “Born To Run”.

Legendary Elvis

The Elvis Presley Trauma Centre (Memphis) is the only public institution named after Elvis…..The trauma centre is devoted to critical, emergency care and operates as a special part of the Regional Medical Centre. The trauma centre opened in 1983..Shelby County Mayor Bill Morris played a key role in the construction of the hospital and in naming it for his good friend. Over the years, the centre has developed a reputation as one of the best hospitals in the country. It is a cause that Elvis fans have embraced, donating over $150,000 to the hospital in the last six years…….
Memphis Elvis Style. Cindy Hazen & Mike Freeman

I own a book by Cindy Hazen and Mike Freeman which came out many years ago.  It is another of the good books that I love and recommend very highly to everyone.

Below is a scan of the front cover and back cover of my book.

Here is the link to the book which is still available from 3rd hand sellers on Amazon.  As you can see, it is very inexpensive if anyone wishes to buy a copy.

Below is an excerpt from the current issue of Reader’s Digest which perfectly expresses how I have always felt about people who visit my site and then want to argue with me…same thing goes for Facebook which is why I recently left Facebook. I could not even express my own personal views on my personal Facebook timeline without busybodies arguing against my views…topics which were totally unrelated to Elvis/Jesse.  I had already posted, a short time ago, what my personal stance was, and still is, and asked that those who came on there to post negative comments in response should just stay away until after the topic was no longer in the news.  But, still I received Emails gossiping about me because of my views.  That was the last straw with me on Facebook.  Ironic isn’t it…that I have fought tooth and nail against all manner of attacks on Facebook for so many years regarding the truth about Jesse and then the last straw did not even have anything to do with the truth which I tell about Jesse who IS Elvis!?!

Jesse said once “If they don’t believe, why do they even come to your site?”  This same axiom holds true for my own personal opinions on Facebook as well.  If people don’t like my views, why were they even reading and commenting on my Facebook page?

Truer words were never spoken…

I enjoyed seeing this and hope my visitors will also.  Just too bad that they didn’t include the photo of Jesse from 1994!! Ha, ha.

This should be a good movie…providing it is done correctly.  Sam Phillips is a very pivotal figure in Elvis’ career, as we all know, and I never heard him say one bad word about Elvis…NEVER.

EXCLUSIVEParamount Pictures has acquired the Peter Guralnick book Sam Phillips: The Man Who Invented Rock ‘N’ Roll. The film will be developed by Appian Way’s Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson for DiCaprio to play the title character, the pioneering music producer who from the tiny Memphis-based Sun Studio helped make stars of artists as diverse as Elvis Presley, Ike Turner, Howlin’ Wolf, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins, a force for integration in the 1950s who changed music forever.

Elvis Presley and the 1956 Hungarian Revolution

October 23, 2016 1:00 pm·

Elvis Presley’s final appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show was on January 6, 1957. CBS censors would not allow his entire body to be shown on live TV, he was seen only from the waist up.

22 years-old Elvis sang seven songs in three segments. Most memorable was his rendition of Peace in the Valley, the famous gospel song as a tribute to the Hungarian Revolution. Sullivan solicited the audience to donate to Hungarian relief efforts and raised about 25 million Swiss francs.

We honor the 60th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution with the soundtrack of the show.

Elvis asks the American people to donate for the Hungarian revolution in 1956. He sings Peace in the valley. This action is the reason why he is being made an honorary citizen of Budapest and why they’ll name a square after Elvis Presley.

A park in Hungary’s capital, Budapest, is named in honour of rock and roll legend Elvis Presley. Tara Cleary reports.

I want to let everyone know this just so you will all know that Jesse is all right.  This past Wednesday in the late afternoon, Jesse tried to phone me two times but our phone was busy because of another call.  Our caller ID/call waiting does not display who the incoming call is and so I did not know that it was Jesse calling. He knew that I would be worried about him if I didn’t hear from him and he didn’t know for sure when he would have another chance to phone me.  So, he called a good mutual friend of ours and left a message for her to give me on her answering machine. She called me as soon as she listened to his message to let me hear the message which he left.  He was worried because, when he called, he did not get our answering machine as usual and wanted to ask her if she knew if we were OK and so she could let me know that he did try to call.  Of course, I was very disappointed that I missed speaking with him but so happy to know that he tried to call me and that he is all right.

Jesse called this afternoon for a short visit.  He is doing well and getting ready with some candy for Halloween for the little ones who come calling.  I asked if Nick gets to go trick or treating and he said that he does with his friends. We only had a few minutes to speak…his time on the phone is more limited.  Just want to let everyone know that he is well and doing OK.

Elvis Presley on track for UK chart record

LONDON, Oct 25 —

The King is in line for another UK chart record. But a battle royal is looming.

Elvis Presley’s The Wonder Of You (Legacy/RCA), the second collection of orchestral re-workings of the late legend’s hits with the Royal Philharmonic, is out front in the race for the UK chart crown.

The Wonder of You, the followup to last year’s chart-topping, million-shifting If I Can Dream, is No. 1 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart Update, just 3,500 combined sales ahead of its nearest rival at the midway point in the chart cycle.

If Elvis stays on the throne at week’s end, he’ll make history for the most UK No. 1 albums for any solo artist (13). Presley current holds 12 career No. 1s in the market…

Jesse still enjoys reading very much.  He told me yesterday that he is enjoying the Bruce Springsteen book very much.  He also said that he enjoys all kinds of music now and that there are a lot of good musicians out there now. He said he doesn’t listen to the same music that he pretty much listened to all of his life such as Gospel.  He likes to stay current on what is happening these days in movies, books, and music.

I enjoyed seeing the following list of books which Elvis purchased in 1963.

Below I am sharing scans of several excerpts from a book by May Mann titled “Elvis, Why Won’t They Leave You Alone?“.    Below is the link to purchase this book on Amazon.  This book was published in 1982 so it probably won’t be found in any brick and mortar book stores.  I have not read this book for a very long time and I don’t begin to say that I recall all of it by any means.  However, I have chosen several excerpts which I feel are something which Elvis wanted her to write after he was “gone“.  He became friends with her and spoke with her at length about many topics over the course of many years…including his perspective on his life.  I hope that the following will be enlightening to those who only know the image and not the real man.

As an aside, it was May Mann who first gave Elvis the name of “the King“.

There is one major thing I noticed in this book, while doing my scans, with which I completely disagree:  She states that three years before Elvis died he was diagnosed with bone cancer in both legs.  No way is this the truth…so I don’t know where she got that.  Perhaps Elvis led her to believe that as a way of getting her convinced that he really was going to die so she would accept it as the truth when he “died“.

As I wrote above, I have not even picked this book up for many years and cannot recommend it based on my memory, but because I am using these brief excerpts from it, I do want to provide my visitors with the option of checking it out.

The wonder of Elvis! The King breaks the record for the most number one albums by a solo artist after reaching the top spot for the 13th time

PUBLISHED: 18:10 EST, 28 October 2016 | UPDATED: 19:12 EST, 28 October 2016

Elvis Presley has broken the record for the most number one albums by a solo artist with his thirteenth effort to hit top spot.

The Wonder Of You sold 63,500 copies when it was released last week, as the king of rock and roll overtook Madonna’s record of 12.

Created almost 40 years after his death, the album is a second collection of orchestral re-workings of some of his hits by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Presley’s former wife, Priscilla Presley, said: ‘This achievement is something I know Elvis would have been so thankful for.

‘I am incredibly proud of all that he has accomplished and so grateful to the UK fans who have kept his legacy alive with all their support. I hope they continue to listen and love his music as much as I do.’

Presley also claims the largest span between number one albums by the same artist, with 60 years between The Wonder Of You and his first, Elvis Presley Rock N’ Roll, in 1956.

‘No, no, no’: Priscilla Presley says Elvis would not be on Twitter today

Same statement holds true for ALL social media…YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

I am very happy and gratified to have reached a total site visitor count of one million today.  I began this website in mid May, 2009.  I have fought tooth and nail to keep this site accurate, strong and open to everyone.  I take it so very seriously that I am standing up for, and presenting the truth about, the man the world knew and loved as Elvis Aron Presley.  It is one of the greatest honors of my life to be blessed with the trust and friendship of the amazing man who was Elvis and who is now Jesse.

I thank everyone so very much for visiting my site and making it possible for my site to have achieved this fantastic number of visitors.

I also am very thankful to Mark C. who rescued my site when it was sabotaged under the watch of my former web host, TipTop.  Had it not been for Mark stepping forward with his legal counsel to rescue my domain name and to salvage all of the material from my original site, I would have had to start all over and would have lost about 2 years of my original work.

Most of all, I thank Jesse for being there with his moral support and his friendship…and, most of all, for his permission to use my real name to defend myself against all the lies which had already been spread on the Internet about me.  That occurred after Jesse’s book was published in 2001 when a few very mean-spirited people recognized that I am Shuma in Jesse’s book.  Had that not taken place, I would have never shared my friendship with Jesse here on my site nor in any other public manner.

Again, my heartfelt thanks to everyone for making this possible.

I am also so glad to have this large number of registered users on my site.  I especially appreciate all those who have become registered users because NO registration is required to view, read, and hear everything on this site.  The only visitor participation which is available and which does require registration is that of posting messages for Jesse on the page which is dedicated to that purpose.

Again, my sincere thanks to all those who have registered.
