Today I found that a very good video, which I included in two articles on my Current News and Events pages for January and November of 2015, had been removed from YouTube.  I have no idea how long it has been gone.  At any rate, because it was missing from my two 2015 articles, I chose to upload my own copy of the video to my YouTube channel.  I have made the corrections to my earlier articles.

Because this was such an enjoyable video of Garth Brooks on the Hoda show on Elvis’ birthday, I want to share it here again.  This contains a wonderful comment about the fact that Elvis is alive made by Garth Brooks.  I hope all of my visitors will enjoy seeing this video as much as I have watching it again today.

I also want to call attention to the fact that the song “The Dance” which was recorded by Garth Brooks is one of the newer (post 1977) songs on Jesse’s album which was released in 2012.  This is my favorite song on Jesse’s album because he changed one of the words to make the song be about him, his audiences and his leaving us.  Listen closely as you play this song from the music player shown on your upper left side of this page and you will hear that he replaced the word “you’d” with “I’d ever say goodbye”.

I think this will be enjoyable for those who have never had the opportunity to view this BBC 1992 TV documentary “There’s Only One Elvis”.

There are several comments made near the end of this film to which I would like to call attention.

The first is the comment by Bill Burke who said that he thought it was so sad that Elvis could not remember the words to the song “MY WAY”.  I may be wrong but, to me, Elvis made this comment about not knowing the words in order to call everyone’s attention to that song and the meaning of that song.  He did this because it was meant to be a part of his farewell as he knew that was going to be one of his very last performances.  That song so nearly described his life and career and could have been Elvis’ way of summing it all up by saying “I did it MY way.”  He always wanted people to “listen to the words” of his songs to get the meaning.  What better way to call attention to the words of that particular song than to say what he did.  “…and now the end is near..”

The second comment is by D. J. Fontana who said that he would go by to visit Elvis and that he told him that he had all that he did and yet he wished he could go back to the way it was when there were just the three of them.  He told D. J. that he was “so tired of being Elvis“.  You may hear this near the 1.05:13 mark.  Elvis told so many people, near the end, that he was “so tired of being Elvis“. 

I am so very thankful that he finally has been able to get some rest.

Below are two screen captures of Elvis’ smile from the above documentary.  The reason that I want to share these is so that everyone may see this particular view of Elvis’ face to compare to that of his in the photo from 1994 which Jesse gave to me.

Those who have been longtime visitors to my web site may recall way back in the early days, there were people who were saying that the photo of Elvis with his grandson in 1994 was really a photo of Dick Van Dyke.  I fought more than a few battles over these inane accusations.

As you will see below, Elvis’ face in these captures from the above documentary do show the same bone structure resemblance and smile lines as in Jesse’s photo.

It was March 25, 1958, and Elvis Presley was being given a buzz cut at Fort Chaffee after having been inducted into the U.S. Army.

Asked by reporters what he thought about having to give up his famous sideburns, Presley said: “Hair today, gone tomorrow.”

The quote was printed in newspapers across the country the next day. And the haircut is still celebrated at the Chaffee Barbershop Museum, which is open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday-Saturday and is an anchor of the Chaffee Crossing Historic District.

Ivy Owen, executive director of the Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority, said several people interested in history urged him to restore the building soon after he took the job in 2007. Some members of his board doubted that such a museum would be a success, but the doubters soon turned to believers as the guest book filled with names from across the country.

“We opened that museum in 2008 after restoring the room to look just like it did in March 1958, and since then we’ve had visitors from 40 states and 15 foreign countries,” Owen says. “It has been a hit since the first day the doors were open.”

Today’s Perspective section cover story chronicles the success the Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority has had in recent years as it develops almost 6,000 acres. New subdivisions and apartment complexes are springing up at every turn. Not all of the success story involves new construction, though. Part of it has to do with attracting tenants for old base structures that are being repurposed for commercial uses. Hundreds of buildings were demolished after the federal Base Realignment and Closure Commission recommended the permanent closure of Fort Chaffee in 1995. Several buildings that once were part of the fort are now being renovated, and businesses are taking notice.

Ivy told the publication America’s Defense Communities: “One of the first requests I made of the authority’s board after I was hired was for $40,000 to design a historic district around the Elvis building, which has became a major tourist attraction, drawing people from all over the world. I didn’t think they would give me the money–and the project wound up costing three times what I asked for–but they let me go out on a limb. Fortunately, I didn’t break it.”

I write this in a most respectful manner because you are Elvis’ family. However, I have documented proof shared with me over the past 25 years by Elvis himself, who reinvented himself as his still-born brother Jesse following August 16, 1977. He is still alive as of last Wednesday. Perhaps you were not privy to the real truth at the time that it took place. I don’t believe that you were because I was told, by the man himself, that only 6 people were involved and knew the truth at the time of the “death”. None of you have been named as being among those 6 people.

I respect you and mean no insult to anyone whatsoever. However, your statement is going to rob many, many people the world over who have followed my web site for the past 8 years and have seen the proof for themselves. This is a cruel act on your part and I don’t believe that you intend to be cruel. I do understand that you fully believe that you are telling the truth. I KNOW that I am telling the truth and that all I have done to share the truth with the fans has been with the approval and support of the man the world knew as Elvis Presley.

I will not go on and on detailing all of the documentation which I have displayed on my web site except to say that everything on my web site when taken into account proves beyond all doubt that Elvis, the physical man, did NOT die. He was so very sick and tired of being Elvis Presley and he allowed the image to die. The man has lived a private life which is as normal as could possibly be for someone who had been the most famous man on earth. He has wanted only his safety and privacy.

I have done as he has asked and shared more of the truth on my web site than is available anywhere else on the Internet. Jesse has stated this himself. I have many letters written in his own hand explaining why he left and some of the details about how it was carried out. Visitors have heard 15 songs which he recorded which were released on a CD in 2012…there is no mistaking that it is definitely the voice of Elvis Presley. There is photographic proof…right down to the scars on Elvis’ legs and the same scars on Jesse’s legs. Professional handwriting analysis has been done by a court-recognized expert which unequivocally proves that Jesse’s handwriting is that of Elvis Presley himself.

My web site has been on the Internet for 8 years and has had well over one million visitors. I am NOT here to advertise my web site and, therefore, I won’t even include the link to my site.

I have to add one thing to Billy though. I understand that you and Marty have stated that you gave the interview to the People publication in the UK as “a joke”. If that is true, why did you go into such detail in Alanna Nash’s book? In her book, you state that Elvis discussed with you the idea of faking his death and that you even spoke with the man on the phone who was perhaps going to be the “stand in”. You summed it up by saying something about Elvis saying that he was not leaving without his money and that Elvis never talked to you about it again.

My posted comment to their video on YouTube has been deleted.  However, in a rather sneaky maneuver, they have somehow edited my comment so that when I visit their video while I am signed into YouTube, I can still view my comment in it’s same original location.  However, when anyone else visits their video, my comment is completely missing…I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN SEE IT.  Several people wrote to me, shortly after I posted my articles yesterday afternoon regarding this video on my site and on my Facebook pages, telling me that my comment was already removed.

The below is something from way back in the early days of the “Elvis Is Alive” adventure.  This tape came out with a book by Gail Brewer-Giorgio in 1988.  I fell totally in love with it the first minute I heard it and that feeling has never wavered.  I have shared the tape and the background information about it on my site before.  However, I came across it on YouTube tonight and felt compelled to share it once more.  Can’t hear too much of a good thing!!

She had published a fictional book called Orion in which a famous singer would sing one last time and then fake his death and disappear to Hawaii. I have been searching back to locate Marty Lacker’s nasty messages which he posted on the Messages to Jesse page of my site so many years ago.  I have finally located my article containing his first attack.  Please see it below:

I vowed that any negative remarks posted on my message board devoted to  Christmas greetings to Elvis/Jesse would be removed.  However, in one instance, I have decided to leave one vile message on there so that everyone who visits may read it.  I will also be printing this off to include to those which I send to Elvis/Jesse so that he may see for himself (once again) what one of his so-called friends is saying about him and me.  I have not written one negative word about Mr. Lacker prior to this.  I have steered clear of him because I knew what his attitude toward me would undoubtedly be.  I have not, until today, read one word which he has written about me.  But, since he has invaded my personal web site…I am glad to let him have his say.

My web site will not become a battle ground between me and anyone.  I will not waste my time nor my web site space on the likes of Marty Lacker.  There is much inside and behind-the-scenes information which I have and know proving that Jesse is Elvis.  I am not shaken for one second by Mr. Lacker’s unkind and disgraceful attack on Jesse and me.  Mr. Lacker would do well to brush up on his typing and also clean up his foul mouth if he expects to garner the respect of decent Elvis fans. 

He has time and again spoken and written disgraceful trash about Elvis.  Just check out his part in the Alanna Nash book Elvis Aaron Presley…Revelations of the Memphis Mafia with Marty Lacker and two other so-called friend and relative.  This book is so disgusting that I cannot begin to read it…just scanning through it makes me nauseous.  Mr. Lacker is one of those former friends about whom Elvis/Jesse wrote when he said that they had revealed intimate thoughts about him to make money because that is the only way they have to  make money. 

I will say only one thing in response to Mr. Lacker.  How do you explain that the DNA from my friend Elvis/Jesse from 2002 and 2008 matches the first cousins on both the Presley and Smith sides of Elvis’s family…the same DNA which is now the basis of a court case for which a hearing date has been set???

I also proved that he lied in his message to me above when he said I was there when he died.  He was NOT there and, in fact, did not even attend the funeral.  He wrote this in his own book and gave details about how he got the phone call telling him of the “death” and that he didn’t leave his distraught wife in California to come to the funeral.

Below is a copy of the page from his own book proving my stated fact:

 

 

Marty was not working for Elvis after mid 1976.  He was in California when Elvis “died” and he received a phone call telling him about it.  At first he thought he would go to the funeral.  Arrangements were to be made for air transportation for him.  He chose NOT to go to the funeral because his wife was just too upset.

So, there is the proof that he lied to me in his first nasty message.  He and I went through a lengthy argument back and forth for some days.  Then Jesse gave me something to tell Marty so he would know that it was really Elvis.  I posted this on my site.  Mary did reply for one final last time and never came back to harass me on my site again. 

Marty did not change his position about Elvis being dead and Jesse not being Elvis.  But he did wish me well with my site and left me alone.

This whole exchange took place in December, 2010 and was originally covered completely on my Current News and Events Page 5.  That page was on my old web host web site and when I ended my association with that host, they encrypted a lot of my material which made it difficult to transfer it to this web site.  Therefore, many parts of this page are missing.  Also, some material has been lost during crashes and upgrades to this current site.  I apologize for all of this.

Below is a small portion of the final exchanges between Marty Lacker and myself after I discussed his attacks against me with Jesse.  You may see all of Marty’s rants on the above page link to Current News and Events Page 5.

Well I plan to leave you alone the only damn reason I got back on your site is that I heard “Jesse” was going to tell me something that happened in the 70’s that only Elvis and I knew about. So what is it? Stop wasting my time.

I will post what Elvis told me to tell Marty.  I fully understand that when Marty remembers what Elvis is speaking of, he will never admit to me or anyone else that he does recognize that it is a message from Elvis.  But, in his own heart and mind this should give him something to ponder and to look back over and reconsider some of the unkind things he has said about Elvis since he has been away and also the unkind attacks upon me and the nasty things he has said about Jesse.

He told me to tell Marty this:  An incident took place back in the 70’s which Marty and Elvis both knew about.  Elvis said that when I ask you this question regarding that incident, Marty, you will know that I am speaking with Elvis.  Elvis said “Marty, how do you feel about David Stanley?”

One other thing which Elvis said during our conversation was this:  He asked me if I pointed out to Marty what Joe said on the TV show years ago.  I asked him if he was referring to the Geraldo show on which Joe said “and that’s how Elvis feels about this situation“?  When I told Elvis that I had confronted Marty with what Joe said, Elvis said something to the effect “Well, I guess he really liked that!”

Marty, I know you are a proud man and will never admit to being wrong about anything.  But, whether you care to admit that what Elvis said strikes a nerve with you or not, some day you will be forced to admit that you have been wrong for the past 33 years.

That was the end of Marty posting on the Message board on my web site.  Jesse gave me another message to give to Marty a little later.  I did Email it to Marty and told him exactly what Jesse said.  Marty fired back a response almost immediately telling me that I was making a fool of myself and that the situation which Jesse told me to relay to him did not happen.  The event which Jesse told me to tell Marty about was very specific and something that only Elvis and Marty knew about.  That was my last contact with Lacker. 

As you all probably know,  Marty Lacker died some time ago.  So, I guess he KNOWS the truth now.

I apologize to my visitors that I have not been active on my web site this week.  I have had a flare up of the pain in my hands, arms and shoulders which has limited my time on the computer.  I am still in a lot of pain, but hope to be able to get back to work very soon.

Also, I am having some serious problems with my computer and may be taking it in for repairs which may cause more delays in my activity.

Once again, I apologize for my lack of activity on my web site this week.  We did take our desktop computer into the shop for repairs.  As soon as we either get it back or buy a new one if repairs are not practical, I definitely will return to my usual updates.

Also, when I came onto my site this morning for the first time this week, I saw that the notice was displaying that the account for my site was suspended.  I am so sorry that I was unaware that my visitors were seeing this misleading statement.  This happened once before and my web host explained that the message indicated that the server was performing some sort of maintenance, etc. 

I did contact my web host today when I saw it and it was returned to normal.  I hope that this outage did not cause anyone any inconvenience or concern.  Earlier this year, I paid for 10 years in advance for my web site so it won’t be actually suspended without my personal authorization.

My pain has improved, thankfully.  I am just so limited in what I can do without my full computer.  I am so unaccustomed to typing on a laptop plus all of my material is stored on my desktop computer.
